“Thank you for visiting my web site!  I invite you to join me on my blog as together we examine ideas and concepts on how to truly Live Life and experience all this life has to offer. I believe that when we walk with God, He enables us to live beyond the limits we see ahead on our path, growing and stretching us to heights and lengths we never thought possible! Please come along and see what God has is store for us on this journey through life!”

Please feel free to roam around my website! Check out the bookstore. “I couldn’t put it down” is the comment I’ve heard most often from readers of The Rose Journal and The Primrose Papers. The companion study to The Rose Journal addresses critical issues facing modern women. I also have discussion questions available for book clubs. Please contact me if you are interested in this.

As an inspirational speaker, I’d love the opportunity to share with your group on a variety of topics.   Hope for a Broken World is the theme of a retreat I’ve developed for women’s groups. Positive feedback indicates women have been helped to find some answers and ways of coping in these uncertain times.

A cultural presentation is available for Sons of Norway and similar groups. This involves a power point of my trip to Norway in 2002 to meet family members and search for my roots. At these events I often wear the Norwegian bunad I embroidered and sewed, and display a few pieces of rosemaling, a Scandinavian art form. Perhaps you will be interested in my article about home textiles and how to choose it correctly.

I’d love to hear from you if you have any questions or interest in inviting me to your group. Please let me know of any way I can serve you!

Love, Linda

    • Thank, Amanda! I’m so glad you found my blog helpful! We are in the process of transferring to wordpress and I will pass on your request for rss feed to the person in charge. Hopefully that will work out for you very soon!

  3. I was going through my mom’s (Carol Rudman) which had a book called “The Rose Journal” along with “Joshua’s Story” & a couple of articles that were given to my great Uncle Al Richards. He had sent it to my grandmother (Lois (Richards) Porro) along with your letter to Uncle Al and Aunt Mary Richards. It was very interesting and my brother was in the process of doing our family tree on my grandmother side.

    • Hi Kimberly, I was happy to receive your note! I have wonderful memories of visiting your Uncle Al and Aunt Mary at their home near Chicago. I attended Wheaton College at the same time as their daughter and we would spend some weekends with them. They were godly people and made me feel very welcome. I hope you read and enjoy my book!
